This Malaysian state government bans the existence of karaoke and the use of shisha

News24xx.com - Kelantan state government in Malaysia prohibits entertainment venues such as karaoke and consumption of shisha, some kind of cigarettes. Malaysian local media published by the Malaysia Islamic Party (PAS), Harakah Daily, reported the ban was implemented as an effort by the regional government to tackle social problems and diseases among youth.

"They (the youths) gather in droves for fun while smoking shisha until two in the morning in this region" Exantan officials for Domestic, Health and Housing affairs, ExcoIzaniHusin said on Thursday, January 17th 2019.
