A baby and his mum killed when they was hit by a car as crossed a road in South London

News24xx.com -  A baby was died after his mother who pushed his pram across the road, was hit by a car when his mother crossed a road  in Penge, South London. 

His mother named Nicole Newman, 23,  died at the scene and her baby was rushed to hospital in a serious condition after suffering from life-threatening injuries on  last Sunday night, January 20 2018.

The driver of the car that is believed to have hit them was also taken to hospital for non-life-threatening injuries and is helping police with their inquiries. 

Then, the poor baby, Luciano Newman, eight months old suffered critical injuries and now, he has died in hospital. 
 
Luciano parents, Nicole and her boyfriend Charlie Bianco-Ashley, 25 were childhood sweethearts who have been dating for years.

Charlie's mother Gabriella said,  the couple were ‘perfect for each other’. 

A neighbour close to the scene said, "Her last words were screams of “where’s my baby? Where’s my baby?” ‘That was just after the emergency services arrived. "

A police spokesman said, "A car was found to have been involved in a collision with a mother and a baby in a pram. Despite the efforts of officers and paramedics, the mother, believed to be in her 20s, was declared dead at the scene."
