A toddler accidentally shot his mother with gun he found under the bed in his parent’s room

News24xx.com - A pregnant mother in the United States was accidentally shot by her son at the end of last week. The boy found a gun containing bullets hidden under the mattress. The King regional police office said the 27-year-old woman was shot in her condition of eight months pregnant.

The woman was immediately taken to the Harborview Medical Center and the medical officer explained she had suffered serious injuries and was in critical condition. Quoted by The Guardian, the toddler's father accidentally put a gun under the mattress just in case. He was worried about the crime that had taken place around his housing recently.

Under the laws of the New Washington state, owners of firearms could face criminal charges for failing to store the items. Meanwhile, local television reported the authorities were still carrying out investigations to assess whether there would be demands filed in this case.
