Due to the order of the king, the sister of Thailand's king withdraws herself from the candidacy of herself to be a prime minister

News24xx.com - The Thai Raksa Chart Party is committed to obey the order of the King of Thailand, Maha Vajiralongkorn regarding the rejection of the candidacy of Princess Ubolratana Rajakanya Sirivadhana Barnavadi to be the prime minister in the general election which scheduled to be held in March 2019.

It is known that Princess Ubolratana is the sibling of the King of Thailand. The announcement of his sister's candidacy was stated on Friday, February 8th 2019. "The Thai Raksa Chart party obeys royal orders" said the Thai Raksa Chart Party, as quoted by AFP on Saturday, February 9th 2019.

This commitment signifies that the Thai Raksa Chart is ready to follow the traditions and customs in Thailand as a constitutional monarchy. The white elephant country has been carrying out the system since 1932 ago. This means that members of the royal family are not allowed to enter politics. Because, the royal family has an important influence and can lead the opinions of millions of citizens.

With the statement of the Thai Raksa Chart, Princess Ubolratana was canceled to run for prime minister in the election next month. Previously, the King of Thailand had been strongly opposed the candidacy of his elder brother to run for the position of Prime Minister.

Previously, a number of analysts had warned that the statement of the King of Thailand or the kingdom would hinder the princess's intention to step onto the political stage. "The royal disagreement overturned her candidacy" said the Professor of Political Science from Chulalongkorn University, Puangthong Pawaguna.
