News24xx.com - Previously it was revealed that most women who looked groom in the office received higher income than those who did not. Other research also reveals ways to dress that can also increase self-confidence and make women more successful at work. The results were quite surprising. It is said that women who wear short skirts in offices are easier to get a promotion.

This research reveals quite sad facts. That is about women who until now are still seen and judged based on their appearance at work. According to the study, wearing a short skirt or a low collared blouse is not something bad. Those who dress like that are even easier to get promoted.

In the study, 24 women who had just graduated from college were asked to dress 'smart' and sexy. Then their photos were shown to 500 participants, including female students, professors, and other adults. The research volunteers were then asked to guess how much the women were worth to pay in a month, how competent they were, and how appropriate the clothes were worn.

Those who wear blazers and long pants or long skirts are rated higher than those who wear short dresses or skirts, low-collared tops, and high heels. The female students also assume that if you wear too sexy clothes, it can have the adversely affect to your career. But it differs from the assumption of adults, including professors. They consider women who dress more sexually to be more easily accepted to work or get a promotion.

"It is often assumed that how we dress is the reflection of our personality. But this may not happen to women, considering that they are always judged by their appearance and inappropriate conclusions attached to them, including in terms of intelligence and professional ability" said Fabio Fasoli as a lecturer social psychology at the University of Surrey.
