Edian Dowling - First Transgender on the cover of Men’s Health

News24xx.com - It became known in spring that for the first time a transgender may appear on the cover of American Men’s Health. 27-year-old transgender man Edian Dowling took part in the annual contest «The Ultimate Guy Search», the winner of which appears on the cover of one of its numbers.

Edian could have become the first transgender in history with a “personal” cover of a men's magazine, but, unfortunately, he did not. On his Facebook page, Dowling reported that he took second place in the competition.

When the editors announced their initiative, the conditions of the competition were characterized as follows: searching for a guy who possesses all the qualities of a successful modern man, active, thinking and leading a healthy lifestyle.
