Presidential regulation for Asian Games 2018 has been signed by Joko Widodo

News24xx.com - The President of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has signed a Presidential Regulation as regards the procurement of goods and services to the Asian Games in 2018.

President of Inasgoc, Erick Thohir said, although the regulation already signed does not mean the funds beginning in 2018 Asian Games is directly redeemable.

Although it's been signed, Erick said is still waiting for the official regulation. "Praise to Almighty God, The regulation is already signed by the President but we wait black over white," said Erick in Jakarta, Thursday April 21 2017.

He said, if in the near future is already receiving its official letters then a new disbursement process can be ran. Next up will be determined Ministry of Finance officials to disburse these funds.

According to Erick, it's needed because members of Inasgoc is currently the private workers, which can not simply to withdraw funds from the Government.

The rule of Asian Games is needed to facilitate the initial disbursement from the Government for the preparation of the event. The Government pledged initial funding will provide Rp 500 billion for 2018 Asian Games.
