Andi Arief arrested on suspicion of drug use

News24xx.com - The politician from Democratic Party, Andi Arief, was arrested on suspicion of drug use. He was captured at a hotel in Slipi, West Jakarta, on Sunday evening, by the National Police’s Crime Investigation Agency’s Narcotics Enforcement Division.

Photos are circulating online, showing Andi’s hotel room in a mess, probably due to police officers trying to look for evidence. On photo shows the toilet being pulled out from the floor, probably to find any evidence that may have been flushed down the toilet.

The National Police Crime Investigation Agency Chief Commissioner General Idham Azis confirmed Andi’s arrest. But they did not disclose what evidence they collected at the scene.
