After leaving his job, Lee went to Macau. Initially he worked as a children's tutor for the source of his income. But in 2004, he decided to stop and move from Macau to Zhuhai. After two years in Zhuhai, he returned to Macau. At that time gamblers visited the area, and the gamblers often gladly give their money when they win gambling.

That made Lee then decided to stay on the streets of Macau, moving from one casino to another casino. Lee's life as a vagrant in Macau had to end in 2010. At that time the local government deported him to his home country, Hong Kong. And after living in the country, Lee continued his life as a vagrant.

The life that for most people is not pleasant turns out can make Lee happy. "For me it's freedom. I don't need to pay rent. I don't need to buy a house. I can sleep anywhere. Sleeping on the streets overcomes many of my problems" he said.
