News24xx.com -  This is the terrifying moment a dad holds his son perilously close to the edge of Seven Sisters cliffs. 

He was just one of a number of tourists who ignored warnings against getting close to the edge of the crumbling cliffs at the famous landmark near Eastbourne, East Sussex. 

There have been a number of accidental deaths at the site including one as recently as 2017 when a student fell over the edge while having her picture taken. 

Officials warn that while it may appear as though the cliffs are strong and the ground underfoot may look stable, there are often cracks hidden below. 

Just a couple of month’s before the tourist fell over the cliff tonnes of chalk fell into the sea sparking a search operation for a woman seen walking across the top. 

Fortunately she was found safe and well a few hours later.
