News24xx.com - Xiaomi announced the presence of Mi Express Kiosk throughout India. This initiative presents a vending machine that makes it easy for consumers to buy Xiaomi phones and accessories directly. Quoted from Live Mint on Monday, on May 13th 2019, the vending machine is designed to accept various forms of payment like using credit, debit, cash and digital money cards.

By introducing a vending machine-style 'shop', Xiaomi has again developed a new retail strategy in reaching consumers directly and eliminating inefficient operational costs. According to Xiaomi, Mi Express Kiosk acts as a very effective initiative for consumers to easily access and buy various Xiaomi products instantly on the offline market.

"Mi Express's vending machines offer the lowest prices, similar to those listed on Mi Homes and Mi.com" Xiaomi representative said. "All technologies that complement the Mi Express Kiosks are researched and developed in India, even though the concept has been existed in China since last year" it continued. Xiaomi added this vending machine will be available from 10am to 8pm every day, and there will be more vending machines launch in the next few months.
