Again, Ferrari recalls 2,071 of its cars, this time the problem is in the airbag system

News24xx.com - Two months ago, Ferrari announced the recall for 2,732 of its cars due to the risk of fire, this time Ferrari recalled another 2,071 units of its car in China due to airbag problems.

In the news quoted from Xinhua, the recall will begin on July 1st. It also involves a number of imported Ferrari produced between April 8, 2013 and November 28, 2017.

It was stated, that there are problems in the passenger airbags at the front which produced by Japanese manufacturer Takata had a damaged inflator, and if still being used could bring harm to the passangers.

The factory will do this recall as a form of corporate responsibility. Therefore, the car manufacturer based in Italy will replace damaged airbags for free.
