Swift was promoting her new album ME! while Turner promoted her new movie, X-Men: Dark Phoenix. The two crossed path during an episode of The Graham Norton Show. The two appeared alongside Turner’s fellow cast members, Jessica Chastain, Michael Fassbender, and James McAvoy.

Jonas broke up with Swift via a brief phone call. The pop star talked about it on Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show and criticized Jonas for the controversial move. Her 2010 song The Story of Us was said to be about the break up.

“When I find the person who’s right for me, he’ll be wonderful. I’m not even going to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone,” Swift had said back then.

However, when she appeared on Ellen DeGeneres’ show again, Swift said that she had said too much when she criticized Jonas for what he did back then. She regretted calling him out publicly.

Jonas dated Turner and proposed to her in 2017. The couple had married earlier this year. Swift had moved on and is dating Joe Alwyn since 2016.
