A man tried to kill his unborn child with pour detergent down his girlfriend’s throat

News24xx.com -  A man is facing jail after he tried to kill his unborn child by getting his cousin and a schoolgirl to pour detergent down his teenage girlfriend’s throat. 

The cruel man named Harief Pearson, 22, search in Google ‘how to get rid of an unwanted pregnancy’ and ‘what can heroin do to an unborn baby?’ in the run up to the attempted killing. 

He and his cousin, Kydie McKenna, 22, and also a girl who cannot be named because she is 15, to help trigger a miscarriage, because he did not want to be a father. 

His victim, 17, was held hostage for several hours at his home in Harlesden, north west London, last December. 

Then, Ms McKenna and other girl kicked, stamped and punched the pregnant teenager in her stomach, back and chest. They also ripped off one of her nails and poured alcohol over her bloodied face. 

When the victim asked for water her attackers poured blue laundry detergent into her mouth. 

Her ordeal only ended when Pearson feared that his mum was going to come home and the victim was dumped in the street. Despite everything, the child survived the abuse. 

Pearson admitted trying to administering poison to cause a miscarriage. 

Proseuctor Luisa Stuart said, "This was a vicious, shameful and premeditated attack on a vulnerable young pregnant victim. It was orchestrated by Pearson because he did not want to be a father."

The perpetrators will be sentenced on July 5.
