Chinese government issued travel warning to USA because of 'safety problems'

IllustrationIllustration - Reported by the BBC, on Friday, June 7th 2019, China urged its citizens to 'consider all-risks' when traveling to the US (United States). In fact, the appeal was released firmly and could be interpreted as a prohibition. The appeal was issued by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China.

This is done considering the threats such as robbery and violence with weapons are increasing in the land of Uncle Sam. "Recently there have been shootings, robberies and thefts that often occur in the US. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism reminded Chinese tourists to fully assess the risk of going to the US in the context of traveling" Reuters wrote.

In addition, the Chinese Foreign Ministry also said US law enforcement agencies have been harassing their citizens through their interrogation. "For some time, US law enforcement agencies have been harassing Chinese citizens by interrogation during entry or exit, and on-site interviews, among other forms" ??he said, according to the Chinese foreign ministry website.

"Therefore, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism issued a travel warning, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Chinese Embassy and consulates in the US decided to issue safety reminders to increase safety awareness. That, I believe, is what the responsible government should do" he explained.
