BPBD of Bengkalis and fire department put out the fire in Darul Aman, Rupat

News24xx.com - Land and forest fire happened in Rupat District, Darul Aman Village, Bengkalis Regency, Riau. One of the three hotspots was monitored by Meteorological, Climatological and Geophysical Agency (BMKG).

The joint team of Fire Department, Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Bengkalis, along with the National Army and the Police, had tried to put out the fire.

“The land that was on fire was more than 5 hectares, and we were still in the middle of putting it out,” said the Head of Bengkalis Fire Department, Djamaluddin to the reporters on Friday, July 19th.

Djamaluddin said that the land was owned by a company. Therefore, the people from company also helped them in putting out the fire.
