Two dogs sacrificed themselves to stop a deadly cobra where a one-year-old slept inside

News24xx.com -  After a deadly cobra going into a room where a one-year-old slept inside, two dogs sacrificed themselves to stop it.  The snake is one of the most venomous in the world. 

The brave pets fought the lethal reptile by baby Skye’s room, outside the family home in Kidapawan City, the Philippines. 

Incredible CCTV showed Moxie, a two-year-old white dog, immediately rushing over and pawing at the snake as it neared the property. 

Then, the other dog named Miley, aged four, picked up the dangerous cobra in her jaws. The cobra made a beeline for the front door but the dogs worked together to move it away from the house.

The determined guard dogs bit into the animal’s tail and dragged the snake back out onto the road. After a two-minute tussle, the snake stopped moving and died from its injuries.

But sadly moments later, Miley also died from her injuries, having been bitten by the cobra several times. 

Moxie luckily survived the attack but was left blind after being hit by the snake’s sprayed venom.

Skye’s father, Jaime Selim, said he and wife Pauie were at work during the incident. His daughter had been sleeping at home with a babysitter, who then reviewed the CCTV footage to see what had happened.
