News24xx.com -  After its patents violated over the years, Ericsson sued Wiko, a mobile phone maker company origin France.


According to Ericsson, Wiko already violated its patent rights for a couple of years back without a license and compensation.

Although both are called has been negotiating since 2013.

Wiko company, headquartered in France but majority owned by Chinese companies named Tinno Mobile, has not commented on the lawsuit question, as quoted from Reuter, on Sunday, August 20 2017.


The lawsuit listed Ericsson in two courts in Germany Duesseldorf and Mannheim. The existing patent infringement lawsuit regarding 2G, 3G, and 4G cellular technologies, including the implementation of the technology patents.


Ericsson's own previously have often sued a number of other companies, such as TCL due to tariff royalties. They are also suing big companies like Apple and Samsung, which later ended peacefully in 2014 and 2015.


Ericsson had very large intellectual property, covering the 2G and 3G technology and 4G/LTE patents numbered more than 42 thousands. Infusion of the patents each year reached USD 867 million.
