Jakarta - Many people consider that an economic recession will definitely occur. The richest people around the world predict that a recession will happen again in 2020. They have been able to deal with this economic downturn by moving high-risk assets to low risk.

Researcher from INDEF, Bhima Yudhistira, said that assets that can be utilized by the super rich are deposits and government bonds (SUN) with short-term tenors.

"So prepare your deposits in assets that are relatively safe such as deposits of up to Rp 2 billion guaranteed by LPS and then there are government bonds (SUN) guaranteed by the State with a short tenor," Bhima said when contacted by AFP, Jakarta, Thursday, 26 September 2019.

According to Bhima, instruments that are easily liquidated are very useful and help capital owners in the face of economic recession.

Another instrument that can be utilized is gold. Moreover, lately the price of gold bars continues to increase.

"The price of high-risk assets will decline sharply. Investors are looking for assets that are safe or called flight to quality," Bhima said.
