News24xx.com - The mystery of the death of David Irvanda (27), a young man from Gresik in Balongbendo, Sidoarjo finally revealed.

Before he died at the hospital, David Irvanda was found lying covered in a paving road in Jatisari Hamlet, Watesari Village, RT 1 RW 1, Balongbendo District, Wednesday (13 November 2019).

Any identity cards were not found around his body at that time.

The identity of the victim was only discovered after the announcement at a radio station.

"After we broadcast it at one radio station, finally a family felt similar to those of their family members. The family then came to Balongbendo Police Station around 12.00 pm," said Balongbendo Police Chief, Commissioner Sugeng Purwanto told TribunJatim.com, Wednesday (13 November 2019).

After examining and checking the body of the victim, it was true that it was one of their family members.

Police also explained when found at the scene there was a torn wound on the back of the victim's head.
While the lips, hands and feet have abrasions.

"At first the victim was still alive when he was found. But due to the heavy bleeding he experienced, the victim died at Anwar Medika Hospital at 09.00 am," he added.

"While the victim is allegedly hit and run. Maybe it happened early in the morning when he was hit and then fainted and no one helped him. And until now we are still conducting investigations," he said.

Previously, the Inafis Police Officer of Sidoarjo had directed their attention to a stone that was about the size of three times the size of an adult's fist in the vicinity of the crime scene (TKP).

The stone was also briefly identified by officers.

And the location of the stone was on the side of the road about three meters from the victim's body.

Suspicions have emerged that this victim was a victim of beatings.

But Sugeng Purwanto denied this.

"There is nothing on the stone. On the stone, the victim's blood was not found either. And the location of the stone was quite far from where the victim was found," he said.

The victim's own body has now been brought by the family from the hospital to be buried immediately.
