News24xx.com - Recently, a 32-year-old salesman, Jun, made headlines after jumping suicide from his apartment in Queenstown, Cheras. His death sparked outrage among netizens because the deceased reportedly had a monthly salary of RM1,000 at a credit card sales company.

As reported by the China Press, the victim known as Gong, it's said in a television interview that the salary he earned was basically RM1,400, his total monthly commission bringing his monthly income to almost RM4,000.

"Jun is a very hard-working employee and the company regrets his death. The reason for his suicide must be submitted for a police investigation. "

Gong went on to say that Jun's monthly rent only costs RM150 and his gasoline expenses are usually shared among his colleagues, ranging from RM150 to RM200 a month. Therefore, the salary allocated to him is assumed to be sufficient to cover his daily living expenses.

"He is very hard-working," said one of Jun's superiors.

The statement was made after the credit card company received an attack from the public condemning their company for abusing employees' rights. The deceased boss even said that the bank had approached the company to ask them about employee benefits.

On the tragic day of suicide, the deceased was found wearing only red shorts by a security guard after he jumped from his apartment building and landed in a car park tent.
