This Beautiful Woman 34 Years Old is Finland's Youngest and World Prime Minister

Finland officially elected a 34-year-old former minister of transportation to become prime minister (PM). The figure of the woman became the youngest head of government in the history of the country.

Sanna Marin narrowly won the vote on Sunday (08 December 2019) to replace the position of leader Antti Rinne who resigned. Rinne stepped down after losing the confidence of the Center coalition Party partners on her handling of the mass strike.

"I never thought about my age or gender, I thought about the reasons I went into politics and the things that made us win the trust of voters," Marin said.

With his age of 34, Marin is also one of the youngest leaders in the world, younger than Ukrainian Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk, who is currently 35 years old.

"We have a joint government program which is our commitment," Marin said.

Rinne resigned after several weeks of facing a political crisis because of his plans to cut wages for 700 workers.

Parliament is expected to take the oath of Marin as the new prime minister on Tuesday (10 December 2019).
