INHU- Regent of Indragiri Hulu, H. Yopi Arianto SE officially opened the Riau Music Festival, which was sponsored by the Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Indragiri School of Economics (STIE-I) Rengat, Saturday 4 January 2020 in the Rengat Green Open Space (RTH) .

Present to accompany the Regent of Yopi, Chairperson of the Indragiri Foundation, Chair of STIE-I along with the ranks, Forkopimda Inhu, and several officials within the Inhu Regency Government including Chief of Protocol Supandi, S. Sos., MP, Disdik officials, Dispora and Ceng Rengat officials along with the ranks.

Chairman of BEM STIE-I Rengat, Syaid Ones Saputra said in his speech that he felt proud and happy for the implementation of the activity which was immediately opened by the Regent of Yopi. The same thing was also conveyed by the Central Coordinator of BEM in Riau Amir Harahap.

The event with the theme "Creative and Becoming a Positive Change Agent" was held from 4 to 5 January 2020, held in commemoration of the historic Rengat event on 5 January 1949 and as a trigger for the creativity of the younger generation.

Chair of STIE-I, Hj. Ivalaina Astarina SE, MM also conveyed the same thing and thanked for the opportunity of the Regent of Yopi to attend an event held by BEM STIE-I Rengat.

Meanwhile, Inhu Regent, H. Yopi Arianto SE in his remarks expressed his appreciation for the activities of this music festival, because it is positive.

The youngest regent in Indonesia in 2010 hopes that through this activity, the young generation can display or channel their artistic talents and works in the field of music, as well as be able to provide entertainment especially for the people of Rengat City and its surroundings.

For information, this activity was attended by general band groups and students from STIE-I Rengat and also enlivened by universities and guests from inside and outside Indragiri Hulu District, including UNILAK Pekanbaru, Hang Tuah Pekanbaru STIKES, UNISI, STAI Nurul Falah, STAI Madinatun Najah, AKBID, STII, STIKES Al Kausar
