Dompet Dhuafa Riau and Lancang Kuning Hospital Hold Cataract Surgery for 53 Dhuafa People

Lancang Kuning Hospital (RS) with Dompet Dhuafa Riau and in collaboration with national private TV and Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih Foundation, conduct free cataract operations for the poor. The activity is carried out on 18-19 January 2020.

At the social event, 53 patients performed the operation and not only from Pekanbaru. But also from the areas of Perawang, Indragiri Hulu and Indragiri Hilir.

"Alhamdulillah, a cataract operation for the poor at Lancang Kuning Hospital has been carried out today. This is a form of collaboration between Lancang Kuning Hospital, Dompet Dhuafa, INDOSIAR and SCTV, and the Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih Foundation. Hopefully this activity will be the first step for further collaborations in this city, "said the Director of RS Lancang Kuning Dompet Dhuafa, Dr. Pradipta Suarsyaf in his release statement to Riau24.com.

Previously, prospective cataract surgery patients underwent screening. In the screening process, the participants participated in a number of examinations, including blood pressure, history taking, blood sugar check, and eye vision check.
