Case of Bribery in the Duri-Sei Pakning Road Project, Bengkalis Regent Amril Mukminin Will Be Examined by KPK as a Suspect

News24xx.com - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned Bengkalis Regent Amril Mukminin (AMU) in investigating bribery cases related to the multiyears project for the construction of the Duri-Sei Pakning Road in Bangkalis Regency, Riau Province.

"Investigators today are scheduled to examine AMU, Bengkalis Regent as a suspect in bribery corruption related to the multiyears project for the construction of Jalan Duri-Sei Pakning in Bangkalis Regency," KPK Spokesman Ali Fikri said. / 2020).

To note, the KPK has set Amril together with the Director of PT Mitra Bungo Abadi Makmur aka AAN (MK) as a suspect in the development of a suspected criminal act of corruption in increasing the Batu Panjang-Pangkalan Nyirih Road in Bengkalis Regency on May 16, 2019.

For Amril, the KPK has not detained the person concerned. While the suspect Makmur has been detained since October 31, 2019 and then in the East Jakarta Class I Detention Center KPK Detention Branch.

Previously, the KPK had processed two people as suspects and indicted the trial at the Pekanbaru Corruption Court, namely the Dumai City Regional Secretary inactive and the Head of the Bengkalis Regency Public Works Office 2013-2015 M Nasir and Managing Director of PT Mawatindo Road Construction Hobby Siregar.

First, in the alleged corruption in the Batu Panjang-Pangkalan Nyirih Road Improvement project in Bengkalis Regency, Riau Province, Fiscal Year 2013-2015. Second, allegations of bribery related to the "multiyears" project for the construction of Jalan Duri-Sei Pakning in Bengkalis Regency.

In these two cases, the KPK named two suspects. In the first case, Makmur was named as a suspect in a corruption case for the improvement of the Batu Panjang-Pangkalan Nyirih Road in Bengkalis Regency, Riau Province, 2013-2015.

The suspect Makmur was allegedly together with M Nasir and Hobby Siregar and his friends committed a criminal act of corruption in the project to improve Jalan Batu Panjang-Pangkalan Nyirih in Bengkalis Regency, Riau Province.

It is suspected that the state financial loss in this project was IDR 105.88 billion, where the suspect Makmur was suspected to be enriched IDR 60.5 billion. Whereas in the second case, the KPK set Amril in a bribery or gratification case related to the "multiyears" project for the construction of Jalan Duri-Sei Pakning in Bengkalis Regency.

Amril's suspect as Bengkalis Regent is suspected of receiving bribes or gratuities relating to positions related to the multi-year project Jalan Duri-Sei Pakning in Bengkalis Regency. The KPK on Friday (17/1) again announced 10 new suspects in developing the road project case in Bengkalis Regency.

First, in the project to increase the multi-year Bukit Batu-Siak Ring Road in Bengkalis Regency in the 2013-2015 fiscal year with a loss of around Rp156 billion. The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) determined three suspects, namely the commitment-making official (PPK) or the Dumai City Regional Secretary who was off and the Head of the Public Works Office of Bengkalis Regency 2013-2015 M Nasir (MN) and two contractors Handoko Setiono (HS) and Melia Boentaran (MB).

Then secondly, related to the project to improve the Bengkalis Island ring road (multi years) for the 2013-2015 fiscal year with a loss of around Rp126 billion. As for the suspects, M Nasir, Tirtha Adhi Kazmi (TAK) as PPTK as well as four contractors, each I Ketut Surbawa (IKS) Petrus Edy Susanto (PES), Didiet Hadianto (DH), and Firjan Taufa (FT).

Third, the Duri West Ring Road construction project (multi years) for the 2013-2015 fiscal year with a loss of around Rp152 billion. KPK appointed M Nasir and Victor Sitorus (VS) as contractors.

Finally, the multi-year Duri East Ring Road construction project for the 2013-2015 fiscal year with a loss of around Rp41 billion. M. Nasir and Suryadi Halim alias Tando (SH) as the contractor were named suspects in the project.
