Gosh! Anies Baswedan Wants To Be Declared To Be Presidential Candidate 2024

News24xx.com - There is something that attracts public attention. The DKI Jakarta Jakarta Muslim Brotherhood Movement (GPMI) canceled a declaration in favor of Anies Baswedan as a presidential candidate in 2024.

Quoting CNN Indonesia, the declaration was initially carried out on the edge of the Mookervaart River, Kali Deres, West Jakarta, Sunday (02/16/2020).

Jakarta Capital City Grand Prize Chairperson Syarief Hidayatulloh said the decision to postpone the decision was made because Anies refused the declaration.

He claimed to be summoned directly by Anies after announcing the declaration plan.

"I just met with the Governor [Anies], I immediately contacted him and he called me. I had spoken at the Bidakara Hotel, the place for the Haji Lulung. After I finished speaking, [the declaration] was not today," Syarief said when met at the event location. .

In a meeting at the Bidakara Hotel, according to him, Anies claimed he did not want to be declared a candidate.

Anies reasoned that he still focused on managing DKI Jakarta as governor.
 
He said the mat will be held around March 2020.

Even so, Syarief revealed that DKI Jakarta GPMI was planning a declaration agenda to support Anies.

GPMI plans to gather cadres from Jakarta and surrounding areas. They claim they will echo public support for Anies in the 2024 Presidential Election.

"There is a declaration, not now. Now it's nothing, the people who have asked," Syarief said, as reported by CNBC Indonesia.

The declaration program which had already been prepared also turned into the inauguration of the West Jakarta branch of GPMI management.

The event was attended by GPMI cadres, West Jakarta Police representatives, West Jakarta City Government, and dozens of orphans and other invitees.
