Rohil Student Holds Intellectual Dialogue About the Industrial Revolution 4.0

BAGANSIAPIAPI - Student Association of Islamic Communication and Broadcasting Study Program (Himaprodi KPI) Islamic High School (STAI) Ar-Ridho Bagansiapiapi Rohil held an intellectual dialogue with the theme "The Role of Campus and Communication in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 Era Against the Thousand Domes".

The dialogue was held on Friday (2/21/20) night at Jon Street Street Mawar Bagansiapiapi Cafe, with three speakers, Budi Setiawan, M.Pd, Chair of ST-Ar-Ridho, Junaidi, M.Ikom, Chair of KPI Study Program, and Noprio Sandi , ST, Extraordinary Lecturer / Practitioner of STAI Ar-Ridho.

The Chairperson of Himaprodi KPI, Riki Dermawan stated, for the first time, students held dialogue outside the campus, with participants from a number of students from various study programs, this step was to face the industrial revolution 4.0.

Jermain, one of the students asked what strategies should be applied in the face of the industrial revolution 4.0 so as not to cause a lot of unemployment, another student asked the campus strategy in attracting people to study at STAI Ar-Rihdo.

In a marathon, three speakers gave their answers, Budi Setiawan, M.Pd stated, the campus strategy in attracting people to study at STAI Ar-Ridha, the campus continues to make improvements. "This year, we are filling KRS with an online system, involving students as a new student admission committee, offering many scholarships, convenience in tuition fees, in the future it is necessary to provide special courses on Information and Communication and Technology," he answered.

Junaidi, M.Ikom answered, seven occupations that will survive in the 4.0 era, creative industries, information technology, professionals, managers, health services, education and construction services.

Meanwhile, Noprio Sandi, ST advised that students of STAI Ar-Ridho take a role in 16 creative economic sub-sectors, including; Animation and video films, game application and development, architecture, interior design, visual communication design, product design, fashion, photography, crafts, culinary, music, publishing, advertising, performing arts, visual arts, television and radio. ***
