Underestimate Corona Virus, Deputy Minister of Health of Iran Positively Infected with Corona Virus

Iraj Harirchi was taken to quarantine the day after he was seen sweating at a press conference where he insisted that the plague was not as bad as feared.

The spread of the virus in the health ministry is an exclamation point from Tehran's shaky efforts to contain the plague.

The regime has refused to close the holy city of Qom at the center of the crisis even as pilgrims spread the virus around the Middle East and Iran facing a shortage of masks and testing equipment.

Iran has officially announced 95 cases and 16 deaths, but there are fears that the total number could actually be higher. Globally, 2 percent of the cases resulted in deaths - but Iranian figures show a very high death rate of 15 percent.
