Korean Peninsula tension, US and South Korea joint millitary training again

News24xx.com -  United States military return flew bombers B-1B on the Korea Peninsula territory. This was done as a show of force amid rising tensions over North Korea’s nuclear and missile program.

It is said that the first joint exercise in the evening for combat aircraft with jet-fighter from Japan and South Korea.

After entering the airspace of the ROK, the two U.S. bombers do missiles air-to-ground exercise in the waters off the East coast of South Korea, then flew to the South to between South Korea and China to repeat the exercise.

The ROK military stated, it is part of regular exercises to improve military defense. Also to show the Alliance between the U.S. and South Korea.

"Flying and practicing at night with our allies in a way that is safe, effective capability important along between the U.S., Japan and the Republic of Korea and hone the tactical skills of the pilots of each country," said Major Patrick Applegate of the US air force.

"This demonstration will obviously our ability to conduct operations without limit with all our allies whenever, wherever," he added in an U.S. military statement.
