Riau Cup Golf Tournament will be held in Labersa Golf course, Siak Hulu, Kampar
News24xx.com - Board of Association of Golf Indonesia for Riau province will held of Riau Cup Golf Tournament for the 27th time. The tournament will be held for three days from October 20 until October 22 2017 at Labersa Golf Course, Siak Hulu, Kampar.
Chairman of the Games, Harry Rambe who met on the sidelines of the preparation of the Riau Cup Golf Tournament on Monday, October 16, 2017 said, "In addition to the event for the fraternity of golf enthusiasts, this tournament is also a place to coaching the achievement of junior athletes who will brought to following the National Sports Week in Papua 2019, "explained Rambe.
Rambe explained, the golf tournament will be followed by 17 golf clubs in Riau, including Labersa Golf Club, Rumbai Golf Club, Pekanbaru Golf Club, and Putri Tujuh Golf Club from Dumai.
In addition, there are also several golf clubs from outside the province of Riau that will participate.
"Around 400 golfers will show their ability in this tournament. For junior golfers, the match will be held on Friday morning, October 20, 2017. For general category will be held on Saturday morning and afternoon, October 21, 2017. And for the VIP category will be held on Sunday morning, October 22, 2017, " he explained.
As in previous years, the committee also held a 'Hole In One' contest for golfers.
"We will give a car for the prize for golfers who can do Hole In One in this tournament," said Rambe .
Rambe also explained that the tournament will be opened by Riau Governor, Andi Rachman.
