News24xx.com -  Finally, Robert Mugabe decided to released his post as President of Zimbabwe after 37 years in power.

Mugabe's resignation came under pressure from both of public and the parliament that asking him to resign.

His decision was welcomed by the people of the country in the southern part of Africa. Zimbabweans took to the streets to celebrate the fall of Mugabe.


Residents in the Zimbabwean capital took to the streets, dancing, laughing when they heard if Mugabe released his post as President of Zimbabwe on Wednesday, November 22, 2017.


The excitement is also seen in Parliament of that country. All members of Parliament Zimbabwe was danced after Jacob Mudendahe read about Mugabe agreed to resign.


"I'm, Robert Gabriel Mugabe, recalling to Article 96 of the Zimbabwe Constitution, formally resign today," said Zimbabwean Parliament spokesman, Jacob Mudenda when he read the letter of one of Africa's longest-running presidents.


Mugabe's resignation was welcomed by a number of countries, one of which was delivered by British Prime Minister, Theresa May.


"Robert Mugabe's resignation will give Zimbabwe a chance to take a new path to free from oppression, and in recent days we have seen the Zimbabwean people's desire for free from fair elections and an opportunity to rebuild their country's economy under a legitimate government," Theresa said.
