In Saudi Arabia, a man punished after chatted too close with a Woman

News24xx.com -  It may be normal for a woman to chat close with a man. But not in Saudi Arabia, a man was caught by police for being caught on camera chatting with woman in black hijab during lunch break.

According to the Akbhaar24 news website, the Mecca Police Department, Saudi Arabia, arrested a man for chatting with a woman during a work break. Seen from the video in circulation, the man known to a fast food restaurant clerk was initially resting at the rear of the restaurant

Then there was a veiled woman and wearing a black veil approaching the man. Both are seen chatting with close distance in the 45-second video. Not until minutes, they split up and the man back into the restaurant.

The video then becomes viral in social media. The video sparked negative comments by netizens who say that the behavior of men and women in it is immoral. This made the Mecca police intervene.

Police conduct investigations and find out where the men and women meet. The man was later arrested and punished according to Saudi Arabia regulations.

"After a thorough investigation of this problem, the officer identified the scene as a fast-food restaurant located behind the school.The woman in the video was a student and approached the man during lunch break, contrary to our norms and values, the man was arrested, investigated, and punished according to regulations,"said an unnamed police spokesman for Mecca.
