News24xx.com -  Smartphones have a lifetime of two years until the owner replaces its with a variety of reasons, ranging from wanting to have a device to the operating system reasons.

Jan Dawson, founder and chief analyst at Jackdaw Research, sees a shift in consumer behavior in the United States using their mobile phones, as reported on the Phone Arena page.

"There are still people who use mobile phones aged 4-5 years and do not want to change," he said.

In the past, telecom providers will subsidize the purchase of new phones in the next year so that many customers change their phones every two years.

Now, consumers can save their money to spending to buy a new phone so they are more careful about using the game.

They prefer to update the software periodically so that the phone always has the latest features.

Dawson assessed the new behavior of consumers is not entirely good for smart phone manufacturers.

Chetan Sharma Consulting's CEO, Chetan Sharma, said iPhone X from Apple could return consumers to the biennial cycle.

According to him, the large manufacturers such as Apple have a new product that more dynamic.

Some mobile phone manufacturers are starting an exchange-added program, buying the latest models right now, and swapping when they release a new phone the following year.
