A woman arrested by police after cutting the body of her daughter into pieces in Hong Kong

When the police broke into a flat in Mong Kok, they found a corpse of a 12-year-old girl who was cut into pieces in the bathroom.

The bathroom is full of bloody water, and the mutilated parts of the body like head, organs, and legs are scattered.

The girl's mother, a 37-year-old Chinese, was arrested in connection with the case.

According to police, the woman was uncooperative at the time of arrest. They also found no record of mental health problems or domestic violence.

A neighbor that living in a unit opposite the suspect told the South China Morning Post that he heard a voice cut and smelled a strong antiseptic aroma coming from her flat on Sunday afternoon.

According to Mong Kok district commander Chung Chi-ming, the deceased is a Primary Six student who lives with her mother in a 60 square foot flat. The police tried to contact the girl's father to help the investigation.

Meanwhile, forensic pathologists say that the corpse was cut into pieces by using sharp objects and there are other body parts that may have been thrown away elsewhere.

Police have classified the case as murder and are now discovering missing body parts and tools used in this case.

The South China Morning Post reports a woman that suspected to killing her 12-year-old daughter is a single mother who may be a drug addict.

He is believed to have killed her daughter - from her first marriage to a man in China - and cut up her body with a meat knife on Sunday.

This 37-year-old woman moved to Hong Kong with her daughter in 2013 after she remarried with a man there.

The suspect works as a masseur at a nightclub and may be addicted to Ice (Methamphetamine) because police have seized equipment and condoms from the flat.

Police removed 12 bags of body parts from the scene. While other missing parts are believed to have been flushed toilets by the woman.
