Jo Pentha and Hannien Tour Travel make a fraud, ASITA : Do not be tempted for cheap price

News24xx.com -  Pekanbaru residents made surprised by the case of Umrah pilgrims. Police of Pekanbaru have arrested the owner of Jo Pentha Tours and Hannien Tour for alleged fraud on Friday January 5 2018.

Jo Pentha Wisata is an umroh travel agency in Pekanbaru. While Hannien Tour is also a travel agent umroh which has a branch in Pekanbaru.

This incident is unfortunate by the Chair of the Association of Indonesian Tours and Travel Agencies (Asita) Riau, Dede Firmansyah.

For Dede, the number of Muslims in Riau is being a potential target market.

"The high desire of people in Riau to go to Mecca becomes an opportunity for the travel agency," he said when met News24xx.com.

As for the way of travel agent to get the potential victims is by offering the price to go to Mecca with very cheap.

"Therefore, we should not be tempted with a travel agent that give price very cheap to go to Mecca or umroh. We must make sure the price must be above IDR 20 million, if they given the price below of Rp 20 million, we should be checked or can ask to the Ministry of Religious Affairs," he said.

In addition to the price of umroh departure is too cheap, Dede also suggested that pilgrims must check the date of departure.

"If there are any travel agent who provide information, if you pay now, so you can depart in next year, we must be carefull too," he said.

Dede asked for pilgrims must be more careful to choosing a travel agency. And not tempted by the cheap price that they offer.
