Rescue teams in Indonesia are struggling to found the victim of landslide in West Java.

News24xx.com -  The rescue team in Indonesia has pulled a woman from a car that trapped by a landslide for 13 hours. And miraculously, the woman is still alive.

But other rescue teams are still struggling, because several others are still missing because landslides on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 after torrential rains have caused havoc in parts of Jakarta and West Java.

Television stations broadcast the efforts of rescue team from near Jakarta's international airport all night long. The rescue team with orange uniform finally managed to pull out a woman who was trapped from her car around 7 am, local time on Tuesday.

Another woman who was rescued a few hours earlier from the same car, died at the hospital, has working as an executive at Soekarno Hatta airport, Jakarta.

Muhammad Syauqi, head of the National Search and Investigation Agency, said that the landslides caused the wall under the road has been collapse, and make a car was trapped and wounded two women.

Both women work for GMF Aeroasia, a national airline subsidiary of Garuda Indonesia.

The seasonal rainy season has caused landslides and flash floods every year in Indonesia. Indonesia is an archipelago with more than 17,000 islands where millions of people live in mountainous areas or in floodplains susceptible to flooding.

On Monday, February 5, 2018 rescue teams took corpses from landslide-hit villages in a remote town in Puncak, West Java and now, they are still searching for eight others.

Earlier, Police said there were two victims caused by landslides in the area. The landslide has prevent the main road to connecting to Jakarta.

Jakarta with a population of more than 30 million people has now increased its vigilance against floods and landslides.
