An 83-year-old man in Thailand was arrested for allegedly raping the daughter of her niece

News24xx.com - An 83-year-old man was arrested in Muang Nakhon Si Thammarat district on Tuesday morning, February 13, 2018 for allegedly raping the daughter of her niece, on February 2, 2018.

The girl six years old has suffered serious injuries after the rape, so she had to be admitted to Maharat Nakhon Si Thammarat Hospital, and was discharged on Monday, 5 February 2018.

The suspect was arrested on charges of raping a girl under the age of 13 yo and charges of kidnapping minors, said inspector Muang Nakhon Si Thammarat, Pol. Colonel Adisak Thepawan.

But the suspect did not want to admit about his mistake and only confessed to the police that he took the girl to visit his house to play the game online at that day.

The girl's mother told to police on Monday, she left her daughter at her elderly mother's house, when the suspect, who was a relative of her new husband, stopped by and took her daughter to visit his home. The girl returns to home for hours later, and her grandmother then realizes that her granddaughter is bleeding and she takes her to the hospital.

The girl then tells them what the suspect has done to her. The mother waits until the girl recovers before filing a lawsuit resulting in the arrest of the suspect.
