Barefooted models appears on New York Fashion Week

Designer Ralph Lauren showcased his latest collection at New York Fashion Week in a unique way. He shows the models barefoot on the catwalk.

The appearance of this barefoot model was deliberately made to match the theme of Ralph Lauren's latest collection for spring 2018 namely The Island of Jamaica.

The idea of the theme was obtained by the designer after visiting Round Hill in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

Light clothes that are suitable for the holidays also dominate the collection of Ralph Lauren. Starting from dresses, tops, skirts to pants, all dominated blue color typical of the ocean to the sky.

There is also a combination of yellow and green in accordance with the colors of Jamaica country flags. Collection of spring Ralph Lauren this time like a mix between shades of the beach with a distinctive style of this American brand.

"I want to share my experience while I'm on vacation in Jamaica and transfer what I get in this spring collection, like the mood, color, and bright radiance of the sky when it's there," Lauren writes in his statement as quoted by The Cut.

In order to feel more holiday atmosphere, Ralph Lauren featuring six models that run on the catwalk barefoot. While other models use shoes, such as white loafer shoes and pumps shoes yellow red.
