News24xx.com - Mobil Anak Bangsa (MAB) Company was signing cooperation with Angkasa Pura II Company, Indonesian state enterprise responsible for airlines, regarding electronic bus test made by MAB to be used in Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Tangerang, Banten.

The Director of Angkasa Pura II, Muhammad Awaluddin said, therr would be two units of the electric bus that would be tested. The bus would be tested on the air side and the land side.

“The air side is the where the passengers get in for airlines with ground handling,” Awaluddin said in Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Saturday, March 3. For the land side, this bus will be used to carry the passengers from one terminal to another. There are three terminals at the airport. Awaluddin said the bus would move from one terminal to another at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, whose track was around 3 kilometers.

However, Awaluddin said the bus was still being tested. The test would still be done in Soekarno-Hatta Airport. They have not done it in other airports operated by Angkasa Pura II.

“Each airport has its own characteristics and unique quality. For now, we will be testing it in Soekarno-Hatta for the first try,” Awaluddin said.

However, he did not give the detail when the bus made by MAB would be tested because the bus was still under feasibility test before they could do field test.

“Let us just wait for MAB until it can be tested. After the certification, the feasibility test and the field test are done, it can be operated immediately,” he stated.
