Earthquake with scale 4,2 richter shook Lebak Banten

News24xx.com -  Tectonic earthquake with the power of 4,2 Richter Scale (SR) shook Lebak District, Banten, on Monday night, at 08:30 p.m, local time.

Department of Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics (BMKG) said that the quake centered in the ocean, 74 km south west of Lebak, which was 7,2 south latitude and 106,05 east longitude.

The center was 39 kilometers deep in the sea. It was felt in Cibarengkok as area III, and Panggarangan and Cikotok as area II.

Fortunately, BMKG did not mention any potential for tsunami because of the earthquake.
