Driver's habits tested in using the new Vario without a kick starter and no lock

News24xx.com -The presence of the latest unit by PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) makes a slight change of the user in using these two units. Known as Honda All New Vario 150 and Honda All New Vario 125, without using kick starter.

It is said by Marketing Director of Astra Honda Motor (AHM) Thomas Wijaya, the absence of kick starter because they followed the motor trend in the world. And this form has also been used by Honda PCX.

"In addition to the trend, such as in large motorcycles, sports, to large scooters, consideration also from the results of a survey conducted to consumers, which make the use of kick starter in automatic scooter has been reduced" said Thomas.

Then, said Thomas, the loss of kick starter is also actually because it is pinned to smart key, so the layout motor will be different, so the using of kick starter becomes unnecessary.

AHM also pinned battery indicator on the speedometer, in order to make consumers more aware and safe to know the battery period will run out. So no need to worry anymore about the removal of this kick starter.

So, in conclusion, says Thomas, the kick starter was eliminated by following trends, consumer surveys, and the existence of a 'smart key' that changes the layout. Then to maintain security, there are indicators or views about the performance of the battery in the speedometer.

In addition, for motorcycles Honda All New Vario 150 is also not pinned the conventional key, this is usually attached to the ignition hole.

Users only rely on the remote to turn on the motor, and without the hassle of entering the key. Just simply close the remote to the motor or stay put remote in the pocket or bag, to turn it on.

However, because the key is no longer hanging on the motor like the old model, there is a tendency for the remote to disappear or fall on the road. Then if things like that the AHM gave a solution.

"If the lock suddenly falls (disappears) when the condition of the motor is on and on the way, the motor can be ridden, but when it is turned off, it can not be switched on again.But then, there is 10 seconds after the motor is off, the motor can be turned on again without remote" said AHM party at the release.
