News24xx.com - The small kingdom in Africa, Swaziland, changed its name into eSwatini. The name change was announced by Swaziland King, Mswati III.

King Mswati III announced the new name of the kingdom during the celebration of the country’s 50 years of freedom.

“Many African countries come back to their original names after they are free from colonizers. We are not going to be called Swaziland anymore starting from today” said Mswati III, as cited from Washington Post, Friday, April 20th 2018.

The kingdom decided to change its name into eSwatini, which is said to be the kingdom’s last, ancient name.

The country’s decision to change its name is welcomed by Swiss, because the names of the two countries were very similar that there were many mistakes during online administrations.

However, it is not known how much it costs for Swaziland to change its name.
