Five types of raw foods that very dangerous to consumed

But, you probably know that raw meat and eggs are not a good choice unless you want to have a food poisoning or even end up being rushed to the hospital.
Beside raw meat and egg, you may not know that are more kinds of food that you’d better avoid if they are still raw. So, you must read this article and try to cook them!
1. Potatoes
Eating potatoes raw can cause bloating gastrointestinal effects because potatoes contain starches that are resistant to being digested.
Dr. Lisa Davis, the chief nutrition officer from Terra’s Kitchen said, the starches in potatoes is hard to be broken down. And if raw potatoes lie too long in a warm and damp place, then they become green and can develop a harmful toxin that is called solanine. So, if you see some green spots on the potatoes, don’t eat them.
2. Yucca
Yucca may not be common in your country but in South America, it is a basis of their cuisine. Because yucca is full of vitamins and various minerals.
Dr. Lisa Davis said that Yucca also hides a very sneaky which may turn out to be lethal. Because leaves and roots may contain cyanogenic glycosides, chemical substances that release a cyanide when eaten raw. So, if you want to eat yucca, you need to wash it thoroughly, peel and cook before serving on a plate.
3. Kidney beans
Every one may be thinking that kidney beans is extremely healthy! Because, they are rich in protein, fiber, and nutritious antioxidants.
However, if you take advantage of raw kidney beans, it may turn out to be disastrous for your stomach.
"Uncooked kidney beans contain the toxin phytohaemagglutinin, which can cause unpleasant gastrointestinal discomfort and symptoms similar to food poisoning," explains Dr. Davis.
If you want to eat of kidney beans, you should to boil it for a minimum of 10 minutes before you decide to consume them.
4. Milk raw
Drinking milk from cows, makes you are in a danger. Because without being pasteurized or be packed, it can contain with dangerous bacteria E.coli or even Salmonella.
According to Food and Drug Administration, raw milk may be about 150 times more likely to cause foodborne illnesses comparing to other dairy products.
5. Sprouts
Sprouts seem so healthy, but if you take advantage of alfalfa and radish sprouts, you risk getting bacteria such as E.coli, Salmonella, and Listeria.
So, how to find healthy sprouts ?
You just need to buy sprouts that are organic and fresh, before you make some dish from them, wash and cook your sprouts.
