These inventors died because of their inventions


Max ValierMax Valier - Do you know Thomas Alva Edison or Alexander Graham Bell? They are famous inventors who helped the world with their creations. Many inventions become a success. But it is not as easy as it seems. There are some inventors who died due to their own creations. Some of them have to die due to a small technical mistake. Among them are the following 5 people.

1.       Max Valier

Valier developed a rocket machine with liquid fuel together with German company, Verein f r Raumschiffahrt. However, he died on May 17th 1930 when the machine he tested exploded, killing him in an instant.

2.       Horace Lawson Hunley

Hunley contributed in creating the prototype of a combat submarine. However, he died with 8 others, drowning inside the submarine he tested.

3.       William Bullock

Bullock contributed in the development of printing machine we had now. Unfortunately, he had an accident during work and had his leg amputated, until he died later.

4.       Francis Edgar Stanley

Stanley created a vehicle powered by steam. He died when driving his own vehicle. When he tried to avoid a cart, he was thrown toward a pile of wood and died.

5.       Franz Reichelt

Reichelt was known to be a designer who designed the first parachute. He tested the parachute himself by jumping off the Eiffel Tower. Unfortunately, it failed and caused him to die in an instant.
