ACT invites journalists in humanitarian writing competitions

News24xx.com - Various activities are held to welcome the holy month of Ramadan. Activities carried out not far from matters concerning worship, activities, invitations that bring the faithful back to the right path.

The now famous global humanitarian agency called Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT), ahead of the month of Ramadhan is trying to hold a contest of humanitarian journalism writing.

ACT Communications Manager General, Lukman Aziz Kurniawan said on Monday, May 14th 2018, "We invite our fellow journalists to television, print, and online to participate in the race we present."

"The contest is already underway, which starts from May 10th, 2018 and will end on June 21st, 2018" he said.

"There will be categories presented in this competition including journalism writing contest for print and online journalists, photojournalism contest for print and online photo journalist and journalistic video contest for television journalist" he said.

"This competition is also intended for media institutions that proclaim ACT's humanitarian activities at the most. For this monitoring media team will conduct their own monitoring work" said Lukman

Furthermore, Lukman said the purpose of this race is as an appreciation for the work of media journalist colleagues who have been supporting humanitarian activities in Indonesia.

"This holy month of Ramadan is a glorious month, this month, Allah doubled the reward of our worship. Hopefully this month also Allah SWT doubled the reward for media friends who participate to spread the humanitarian activities" said Lukman again.

Regarding the contest of humanitarian journalism, Lukman mentioned hundreds of millions of rupiah will ACT provide to appreciate the work of this journalist colleagues in spreading the kindness to the people.

"For further confirmation, both the media and the public can contact ACT both in central and branches throughout Indonesia" he said

In addition to the general public who usually write a column of articles or opinions, can also follow this contest. Which is done by submitting an opinion or article in the period of May 10th to June 21st 2018 on the ACT humanitarian agency.

Lukman also said that the news related to humanitarian activities carried out by ACT during pre Ramadan until the end of Ramadan.

With the theme "Give the Best Ramadhan", ACT invites the community, especially the Pers can both share the goodness of the people, and also to jointly build the spirit caring to fellow human in need.

The work of the competition will be announced in early July 2018 at the "ACT 2018 Humanitarian Journalism Award".
