A low-fat mango smoothie recipe to make your skin glow
News24xx.com - Make the most of this mango season before the mangoes disappear from the markets.
With mangos you will get glowing skin and a slim tummy with this low-fat aam ras smoothie.
You can have this mango smoothie for breakfast because it is quite filling and you won't feel hungry for long.
Ingredients:
3 mangoes
1/2 cup milk (I used low fat)
1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder/elaichi
Sugar to adjust the sweetness (I did not use)
4 ice cubes
Method:
1. Peel the mangoes and chop into pieces. Try to take our maximum pulp from the mangoes.
2. In a blender blend everything together till it becomes creamy (like smoothie or lassi).
3. Sieve the whole mixture.
4. Refrigerate at least 4 hours and then serve cold.
Important tips:
Always soak mangoes in water for at least 1 hour before use. This helps to eliminate the heat content from the mangoes.
