In US six squirrels tangled their tails and were trapped

Stesty explained that squirrels were trapped because of the woody juice: the eight-month-old cubs literally stuck to the tree. The specialist also told that she or her employees meet such situations on average once every two years and most often the juice becomes the cause.

Before releasing of young squirrels, Stepney gave them a light painkiller and wrapped in towel to make them feel safe. The rescue operation took about an hour.

At the moment, the animals are safe. But some of them need a little surgical intervention: some animals have parts of the tailings were seriously damaged. The specialist specified that the cubs will be released after a few weeks.
