Dozens of hotspots appear in Riau, and during the day the weather is blistering heat

News24xx.com - Tuesday, June 12th, 2018, Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) record hotspots are reappearing in Sumatra. Even Riau Province contributes 5 hotspots.

As informed by Head of Information Section BMKG Pekanbaru Station, Slamet Riyadi. "Hotspot in Sumatera island is 45 points spread mostly in North Sumatra 27 points, Aceh 9 points, West Sumatra 3 points, Jambi 1 point, and Riau 5 points" he said. Hotspot in Riau spread in three districts namely Rokan Hilir (Rohil) 3 points, Rohul and Pelalawan each 1 point.

Then the weather during the day at maximum can reach 34.5 degrees Celsius. With the potential of local light rain in parts of Pelalawan, Kampar, Pekanbaru, and Siak.

With air humidity of 50 - 96 percent and wind comes from Southeast to South at speed of 09 to 27 km/hr.
