News24xx.com -  Although suffered a serious shoulder injury, Mohamed Salah,  25-year-old is set to feature for Egypt in their opening World Cup group match against Uruguay. 

Before, he suffered a serious injury during Liverpool’s Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid last month.

And many people predicted that his injury will  provoked that Salah would miss the World Cup in Russia.

As information,  Salah scored 45 goals across the 2017 until 2018. 


But the worries of his fans about his health was wrong, because he has made significant progress in his injury rehabilitation.


Egypt coach,  Hector Cuper expects him to be fit for the Group A fixture against Uruguay on Friday, June 15 2018. 


"I believe he is almost 100 per cent will play. We’re trying to make him feel confident. The doctors are giving him the options to play or not. I know Salah very well, he’s not fearful, " Cuper said. 

Salah enjoyed his quite remarkable season at Liverpool following his move from Serie A outfit Roma last summer.

The former Chelsea player won the Golden Boot award and was named as the PFA Player of the Year for his performances at Anfield. 

After facing Uruguay at the Central Stadium in Yekaterinburg, Egypt will take on hosts Russia and Saudi Arabia as they bid to reach the knockout stages in their first World Cup appearance.
