News24xx.com - In March 2018, the brave 7-year-old Montanna Kenny from Austin, Texas, forever made her name in history. The girl became the youngest woman among the conquerors of Kilimanjaro. A second-grade student climbed to an altitude of 5895 meters with her mother during the spring holidays.

Holly Kenny, the girl's mother, is a professional triathlonist and personally coached her daughter to climb the highest mountain in Africa. Montanna trained for 4-8 hours on weekends and overcame short distances on weekdays. Also, the girl is engaged in swimming, basketball and jogging, which helped her in training for a heavy climb.

The idea of such difficult trial came to mind of Montanna, and she asked her mother to overcome the top with her. They had to get a special permit, which would allow a 7-year-old child to climb the mountain, since the legal age should exceed 10 years.

The young conqueror of the mountains explained that she wanted to climb to be closer to her father, who died when she was only three years old.
When they reached the top, "She sent an air kiss and waved to him. I hope he saw her", - says Montanna's mom.

The girl's father suffered from post-traumatic stress and tried to cure with DPDH therapy (desensitization and eye movement processing), which not everyone can afford.

Now Montanna and Holly created a page on Go Fund Me to raise money and help people, suffering from post-traumatic stress.
